About

Microneedling, known as collagen induction therapy, stimulates collagen production through a gentle procedure that rejuvenates the skin. This treatment effectively addresses acne scarring, reduces the visible signs of aging, and revitalizes fatigued skin.

Microneedling triggers the body's innate wound-healing process. The creation of micro-injuries prompts cytokines and growth factors to remodel collagen and elastin, leading to enhanced skin texture and tone.

what to expect

Following a client consultation, we craft a personalized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs. This plan takes into account factors like current skin tone, texture, thickness in treatable areas, and the degree of wrinkles and scarring of concern.

A typical microneedling regimen comprises four to five sessions, each lasting approximately 45 minutes.

Our process involves thorough skin cleansing and the potential application of a soothing gel before the microneedling procedure.

Post-treatment, we cleanse the skin once more and employ techniques such as cold towel application to minimize any swelling. Importantly, clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure.

Additional treatments are scheduled approximately one week apart, with several sessions conducted over the course of about a month. Notably, these microneedling sessions create channel wounds, often adjacent to previously treated areas, strategically guiding the body's natural skin cell regeneration process. In essence, each successive treatment builds upon the results of the previous one, enhancing overall effectiveness.

Roughly a month after the last session, discernible improvements become evident. Fine lines and wrinkles diminish noticeably, while blemishes appear less prominent.

Face

  • Micro needling involves using a derma stamp pen or a derma roller device. It is a simple procedure that uses fine needles to create a micro injury which can break down old scar tissue and stimulate new cellular and collagen production. This will create thousands of micro wounds. Your body responds to the wounds by producing a significant amount of collagen and elastin fibers. More collagen and elastin mean healthier, smoother, tighter skin, as well as scar reduction and acne improvement.

  • Treats moderate acne scars, fine lines, deep wrinkles, sagging skin, rough skin texture, pore size, sun damage, and stretch marks.

  • With numbing and treatment, expect to be here an hour.

  • Micro needling can be unpleasant. We use topical numbing with BLT cream and can give nitrous if needed for a fee.

  • Micro needling has minimal downtime for most. Skin redness and inflammation are quite common. They will disappear within 24 hours. Your skin may become slightly pink for 2 to 4 days depending on the severity of the treatment. If we need to do a more aggressive treatment, you can be red, swollen, bruised for a week.

  • You will look red and a little bloody after the treatment that day. You will experience some redness and mild swelling for 2 to 4 days. You may even notice a slight bruising or several tiny blood spots, but they usually disappear in 24 to 48 hours (about 2 days). You can apply medical/mineral makeup 24 hours after as long as no open areas

  • The number of treatments needed depends on the severity of your skin condition. Many people report seeing noticeable improvements after 1 to 4 treatments.

  • Every 4-6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) as needed.

  • Micro needling is safe for all skin types and colors. It does not produce post inflammatory hyperpigmentation unless the client is out in the sun and heat post treatment or too tan when treatment is done. Fitzpatrick 4, 5 ,6 need to be done lighter and work into heavier settings as tolerated.

Vampire Facial

  • The vampire facial starts with micro needling followed by the application of one's own plasma-rich platelet serum. It helps ramp up production of your skin's own collagen—the building block of a firm, bouncy, youthful complexion.

  • The injury from the micro needling allows for topical absorption of the PRP and creates small injuries which trick the body into thinking it has had a major injury. The response to this is stem cell production.

  • You will be topically numbed and cleansed, your blood will be drawn as you numb and then it will be spun in the centrifuge. Once the plasma is separated correctly, the provider will draw it up and apply it topically to the skin while micro needling.

  • Vampire facial can help with texture, skin tone, clarity, pore size, brightness, fine lines wrinkles, skin laxity, and stretch marks.

  • Numbing is 30 minutes and actual treatment is 15-30 min. Plan for 60 min in case of delay in obtaining blood etc.

  • Anyone who desires healthier, more vibrant skin. It is suitable for all skin colors and types.

  • ● Pregnant clients, bleeding disorders and anticoagulants (must be approved by provider). Open wounds

    or poor wound healing, or keloids.

  • It is uncomfortable and can be painful depending on the depth of needed treatment. Micro needling can be unpleasant. We use topical numbing with BLT cream and can give nitrous if needed for a fee.

  • Just like micro needling, it depends on depth of treatment and how aggressive technician needs to be. Typically, you look terrible that day and leave with a bloody face. You leave your blood on for 5 hours then wash it off. May be red, bruised, swollen for 1-7 days depending on the treatment.

  • Avoid sun for 3 weeks before and 3-4 weeks after. You can cause hyperpigmentation if you have sun and heat exposure. Acyclovir is needed for a few days if the client has a history of cold sores.

  • Varies based on desired results and level of damage we are trying to correct. The average person should do 1 or 2 of these per year. Severe cases of scarring or texture issues may require more.

  • Results are permanent but you continue to age. Clients report improvements for as long as a year.
