  • A dual wavelength laser designed to remove and reduce unwanted hair.

  • The laser is attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle and zaps strong energy into the follicle causing it to shrink each time treated. With each treatment, the follicle grows smaller and eventually the hair follicle stops growing.

  • You will be given privacy and draped. Googles are applied. The treatment area is covered in ultrasound jelly then tech will cool the area with the laser probe prior to using the beam to zap the follicles.

  • It is only moderately uncomfortable, sometimes the hair follicle feels like it is being plucked. Compared to other hair removal lasers it is very well tolerated but using nitrous oxide for a fee can be used.

  • Anywhere from 15 minutes to 60 minutes depending on area being treated.

  • Anyone who wants to reduce dark unwanted hair.

  • BLONDE, GREY, LIGHT RED HAIRS DO NOT DO WELL AS THE LASER IS LOOKING FOR THE PIGMENT IN THE HAIR. Anyone who has had sun exposure resulting in darkening or reddening of skin 2 weeks prior to treatment. No pregnancy. No uncontrolled disease. No open skin or wounds, no uncontrolled diabetes, areas with tattoos or moles cannot be treated, NO SUNLESS TANNING.

  • Avoid sun for at least 2 weeks before and after treatment. Take antiviral if history of HSV in treatment area. No sunless tanning 2-3 weeks before. Clients cannot wax, thread, or plug resulting in pulling hair from root for 6 weeks (about 1 and a half months) prior to laser removal. The hair must be in the follicle but cut down to skin. Shaving 1-2 days prior is ideal. May use aloe and soothing lotion after. Avoid sweating, hot tubs, saunas for a day or 2.

  • Depends on size and strength of hair and follicle as well as the amount of hair present. Many people do 6 sessions as a base.
